2025 Induction Ceremony
The Spring 2025 induction ceremony was held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the Merrill Cultural Center. If you missed it, you can still peruse the program for the ceremony. Our keynote speaker was Prof. Zac Zimmer from the Literature Department. Congratulations to all of the new initiates!

Graduate Scholarships and Teaching Excellence Award
Congratulations to three members of our UCSC community for their awards from the Phi Beta Kappa Northern California Association. Graduate students Keya Jonnalagadda and Robbie Shepherd were among the 2025 graduate scholarship awardees. Prof. Nicol Hammond of the Music Department was one of the 2025 Teaching Excellence Awardees.

Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Natalia Molina

UCSC Giving Day 2022: Supporting New Phi Beta Kappa Inductees
We participated in UCSC Giving Day 2022 to raise funds to defray initiation costs for new inductees, and the national society has also helped us defray those costs. Thank you to all members and friends of Phi Beta Kappa who contributed toward this goal.
